সংস্থার পরিচয়

Forensic Training Institute (FTI) of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was established to provide technical knowledge to ground-level police officers for collecting physical and digital evidence, preserving evidence, and avoiding contamination to ensure justice. Scientific investigation is emphasized as an essential approach to combat modern crime. Since its inception in 2012, FTI has provided multiple training courses with cooperation from Police Headquarters and development partners such as UNODC, UNICEF, and the US Embassy. The institute provides training on forensic issues, monetary embezzlement cases, and cyber crime investigation in Bangladesh, following yearly training plans approved by Police Headquarters.
